Fallingbrook is a neighbourhood located in the east end of Orleans, directly south of the Ottawa River and the Petrie Islands. Originally considered part of the city of Cumberland, development of the community started during the 1980s, when the area consisted mostly of farmlands. Today, the neighbourhood is one of the fastest-growing communities in Orleans, with an estimated population of more than 25,000 residents, as well as plenty of new developments currently underway.
